About the position

As a Service Manager at Goodyear, you will gain hands-on experience in one of our auto service centers, where you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service while managing the service department effectively. This role involves scheduling associates, managing service appointments, and organizing workflow to ensure quality work is delivered on time to our guests. You will play a crucial role in building meaningful connections with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and acting as a liaison between technicians and guests. Your contributions will also extend to the training and development of service department associates, helping to foster a knowledgeable and efficient team. In addition to managing daily operations, you will be tasked with driving sales goals through guest interactions, which will include tire and service sales. You will articulate all warranties, promotions, and advertisements to guests, utilizing the tools provided to make informed recommendations based on manufacturing guidelines. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential, as is performing a variety of manual tasks that may include light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of previous Automotive Service management experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
