The Service Manager Trainee is responsible for the overall operation of the store and service center, focusing on motivational leadership to ensure sales and customer service goals are met. This role involves compliance with safety regulations and policies, as well as providing direction to develop a high-performance team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective overall operation of the store and service center.
- Deliver expected sales and customer service throughout the unit.
- Maintain safe working conditions according to established policies and procedures.
- Provide technical, administrative, operational, and motivational direction to the team.
- Manage sales, profit, and productivity metrics.
- Oversee merchandise presentation and facility maintenance.
Requirements
- Two years of related experience in retail management, preferably in automotive.
- Completion of a two-year college or technical school program.
- Current, valid driver's license issued in state of residence.
- Equipment Safety Certification.
