About the position

The Green Mill Restaurant & Bar in Lakeville is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a growing team and ensure exceptional service for loyal guests. The restaurant has undergone significant renovations and is recognized as a top performer within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for the company and the brand.
• Lead and direct all team members with an emphasis on ongoing training and development.
• Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction is executed by all team members.
• Promptly resolve all customer concerns or issues.
• Coordinate and monitor training of all new front of house staff according to company guidelines.
• Assist in conducting inventory counts and troubleshoot discrepancies and variances.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years in restaurant management or supervisor/shift lead experience.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred (not specific to hospitality).
• Understanding of inventory management, sales building, marketing, labor control, and cost of goods control.
• Exceptional customer service skills, personable, and guest-focused.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.
• Advanced knowledge of upper-level restaurant management.
• Superior communication skills and computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Experience with scheduling and inventory management software is preferred.
• High importance placed on organization and timeliness.
