About the position

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Service Manager to oversee all Front of House daily operations, manage Front of House employees, and ensure that Legendary Food and Legendary Service is consistently delivered to guests. This role emphasizes a passion for people and providing an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
• Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety in the restaurant
• Providing or directing all Front of House training
• Managing performance of Front of House employees, including conducting evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
• Enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
• Assisting with the development of key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees through daily feedback
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending hiring of Front of House employees
• Directing work for employees, including setting hours, weekly schedules, and assigning tasks
• Creating a fun, safe environment by following core values and operational goals, implementing contests, and creating incentives
• Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management role within the restaurant industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to drive sales and guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
• Experience in training and developing staff
