The key objectives of this position are to maximize employee safety, field tech productivity, and quality customer service. Plan, develop and organize an effective workforce that provides service for projected sales volume, profit and customer satisfaction. The position will manage and oversee office personnel, Shop Technician and Field Service Technicians The Service Manager must be highly organized, self-motivated, work with little supervision and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are required. Must be experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Responsibilities: Efficiently and effectively manage and supervisor field service technicians Hiring, coaching and termination of Field Technicians Provide first-line support escalation for customers when experiencing any service issues. Take customer calls & perform efficient scheduling of all service Confirm jobs and field quotes are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure proper company forms for customer documentation & payment terms are in place prior to starting jobs. Closing of jobs immediately on completion of work. Coordinate with Parts Manager for timely submission & delivery of parts orders for service jobs. Ensures productive scheduling and dispatching of all Service Technicians directly or through subordinate staff as required. Provides technical assistance for Service, Sales and Parts departments when necessary Maintain excellent customer service and employee relations at all times Additional responsibilities or duties as requested by upper management. Skills: Previous supervisory or management experience in the emergency power industry is preferred Previous mechanical/electrical experience required, emergency power experience is a plus Possess strong problem-solving skills Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs As an employee of Paramount Power, Inc., you are willing to be cross-trained in other positions as necessary, and understand that over time your position may change and grow, hours and responsibilities may change, this job description is a guideline of expectations.
