The Business Analyst - Service & Item Master position is a critical role that involves working closely with managers across various lines of business to create and maintain essential documentation such as the Schedule of Value (SOV), Statement of Work (SOW), and Item Master records. These documents are vital for bidding and awarding materials as well as engineering and construction service contracts. The primary focus of this role is to develop and implement item master records and SOVs that not only minimize costs but also help in realizing cost reductions and standardizing bids and contracts across the organization. In this position, the Business Analyst will be responsible for managing the National Schedules of Value and Statements of Work processes, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This includes optimizing SOV processes to support strategic initiatives within the Supply Chain, such as negotiating volume discounts and reducing service expenditures. The role also requires managing change requests for SOVs and SOWs, facilitating cross-functional discussions, and ensuring that all new documents align with Job Costing and IT requirements. Additionally, the Business Analyst will create, maintain, and remove Item Master numbers within two ERP systems, integrating processes across all lines of business to enhance financial reporting and identify additional volume discount opportunities. The position also involves assisting with the execution of Supply Chain projects aimed at achieving company goals. This is a full-time, temporary position with a pay rate of $40 per hour, and it offers a hybrid work schedule with the possibility of remote work on Fridays.
