About the position

The Service Member Benefits Specialist at TEKsystems is responsible for reviewing and processing requests for interest rate reductions under the Service Member Civil Relief Act (SCRA). This role involves serving members by addressing inquiries related to SCRA and Credit Union lending products through various communication platforms. The position requires handling inbound and some outbound calls, performing administrative tasks, and working in a high-paced, production-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and process requests for interest rate reduction under SCRA qualifications.
• Answer SCRA inquiries and questions pertaining to Credit Union lending products.
• Handle inbound calls specific to SCRA, mainly status updates for members.
• Make outbound calls for additional documentation or information needed from members.
• Perform administrative tasks such as auditing files and imaging documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of recent strong administrative work experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
