About the position

The ServiceNow Application Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the ServiceNow platform at Vantage Data Centers. This role involves collaborating with various business units to define and implement workflows and solutions, ensuring the platform meets customer requirements, and promoting continuous improvement processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ServiceNow, particularly in areas such as Customer Service Management, Configuration Management Database, and Field Service Management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with internal users to identify business needs and develop system requirements.
  • Document new solutions and prepare for implementation.
  • Participate in ServiceNow upgrades and enhancements.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance checks.
  • Lead meetings and facilitate training on new processes and solutions.
  • Collect user feedback and prioritize configuration requests.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for system monitoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience developing ServiceNow solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience integrating ServiceNow with other solutions using REST APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience coding in JavaScript, HTML, XML, and some Ajax.
  • 3+ years of experience with relational databases.
  • Proven understanding of systems and platforms such as Workday, Yardi, Procore, and Primavera.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • ServiceNow Credential on CMDB, FSM, ITSM/CSM, SPM are a plus.
  • Experience participating in technology and software projects.
