About the position

The position involves developing and implementing new ServiceNow applications and integrations, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions tailored to customer requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, along with the ability to design workflows, automate business processes, and ensure code quality and reusability. The candidate will work in a dynamic and agile environment, solving complex problems and leading small project teams when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to customer requirements.
• Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes.
• Understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions to customers.
• Design quality features and consider how applications and solutions will evolve in the future.
• Solve complex problems in a highly dynamic and agile environment.
• Maintain a strong focus on code quality and reusability.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience with ServiceNow modules like Service Portal, HR Service Delivery, HR Onboarding and Transitions, and ITSM is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 6+ years of experience with ServiceNow app development.
• 3 to 5 years of development experience with creating simple/complex customer-facing web or mobile applications is a plus.
• Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities is required.
• Ability to understand business needs and standardize processes into design.
• Good understanding of service-oriented architecture and software application architecture.
• Experience with web technologies JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL.
• Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React is a plus.
• Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML).
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leading small project teams is a plus.
• Micro-Certified in Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, HR Onboarding and Transitions is an added advantage.
