About the position

The ServiceNow Architect role is focused on leading the implementation, configuration, and administration of the ServiceNow platform within medium to large organizations. This position requires extensive experience in ITSM solutions, particularly in ServiceNow, and involves guiding a team of ServiceNow resources to develop technical solutions that meet business needs. The architect will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to best practices and standards while providing architectural and design inputs throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Handle a team of ServiceNow resources, providing guidance for Implementation, Integration, Data transfer, Support, and Development including enhancement requests.
• Develop/administer technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and beyond.
• Utilize good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions on the ServiceNow platform while making informed recommendations to process users.
• Apply innovative technology to business processes to develop new solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Consult with business analysts/Process Leaders to develop appropriate technical solutions in ServiceNow.
• Follow up on outstanding development needs and provide timely status reports to the project manager.
• Advise on options, risks, and impacts on business/ITIL processes.
• Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in administration/implementation/configuration of an ITSM solution in medium to large organizations.
• 10+ years of experience in administration/implementation/configuration of ServiceNow in ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, and Scoped Application solutions.
• Experience in ITIL Process Definition, Integration Solutions, and Architecture level configurations.
• Lead at least a couple of Implementation projects in different ServiceNow modules including Scoped applications and 1 complete Implementation lifecycle for ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow custom application design and development experience.
• Past work experience with industry-leading providers of ITSM tools.

Nice-to-haves

• ServiceNow Discovery Configuration, Run Book Automation preferred.
• ITIL certification desired.
