About the position

The Service Now Architect position at BCforward involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Security Operations (SecOps). This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its modules, as well as the ability to translate complex requirements into effective architectural solutions. The position is hybrid, based in Plano, TX, and is expected to last between 18 to 24 months as a contract role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement GRC and SecOps-related solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
• Translate GRC and SecOps requirements into detailed solution architecture.
• Deploy and operate ServiceNow Security Incident and Vulnerability Response solutions.
• Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with common security tools such as Tenable and Aqua.
• Collaborate with teams using agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe.
• Communicate product architectures and design proposals effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow GRC/IRM and/or SecOps suite.
• ServiceNow CSA and relevant CIS certifications (IRM and/or SecOps).
• Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, GRC, and SecOps modules.
• Strong understanding of GRC principles and frameworks (e.g., PCI, NIST).
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing GRC and SecOps solutions.
• Experience with ServiceNow Security Incident and Vulnerability Response deployments.
• Familiarity with CMDB and ITSM processes in relation to security solutions.
• Experience in agile working environments.
