About the position

The ServiceNow Consultant role at Cognizant involves managing large programs for targeted accounts, ensuring project delivery aligns with best practices, and fostering client relationships. The consultant will lead client engagements, oversee project deliverables, and mentor junior consultants while driving business outcomes through effective project management and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage large programs for targeted accounts with support from Senior Consultants.
• Responsible for continued growth within the Client Account, working with sales/presales/CPs on new opportunities.
• Accountable for delivery of projects in accordance with Project Management best practices, including schedule, scope, resources, and budget.
• Ensure a deep understanding of the business purpose of every engagement and identify expected business outcomes.
• Manage client expectations through proactive relationship management.
• Serve as the Project Lead on client engagements and drive the completion of all Project Management deliverables.
• Define client's desired business outcomes and manage alignment to those outcomes.
• Lead oversight of client deliverables including customer approach documents and proposals.
• Accountable for managing and invoicing client engagement financials.
• Facilitate the preparation of workshop materials and co-lead workshop discussions.
• Work with the client, Consultant, and Solution Architect to create user stories with business-level requirements.
• Accountable for the creation and delivery of all project Change Requests for assigned accounts.
• Responsible for the creation of all Statements of Work for assigned accounts.
• Work with Sales/PreSales and Managers to develop Statement of Work documentation for other client implementations.
• Serve as the Cognizant Scrum Master as needed.
• Mentor Senior Consultants assigned to engagements and coach HR responsibilities for resources with HR reporting relationships.
• Build out templates and sample artifacts to continuously improve the Center of Excellence in delivery.
• Assist the project team in creating non-project management related materials.
• Review/approve timesheets, generate invoices, and provide budget updates/resource forecasting for assigned projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of related experience with a management consulting firm, with prior Big 4 experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of ServiceNow project experience preferred.
• Experience with process consulting, business analytics, organizational change management, business analysis, or technical writing preferred.
• ITIL v4 Foundations preferred.
• PMI CAPM or PMP preferred.
• Agile SCRUM Master certified preferred.
• ServiceNow System Administration Certification preferred.
