About the position
The ServiceNOW Developer Architect is a remote position responsible for leading the development and implementation of ServiceNOW automation solutions for DIT Operations. This role involves managing the lifecycle of custom applications and integrations, ensuring data integrity, and promoting the benefits of digitization and automation within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large custom applications and automations in ServiceNow.
- Create the vision and define the roadmap for custom workflow automations and system/data integrations across DIT.
- Manage the whole lifecycle of custom automation applications and integrations.
- Provide leadership for projects to gather and synthesize requirements, evaluate options, and design, develop, test, and implement integrated solutions.
- Lead and promote effective governance of data models, data integrity, coding, processes, applications, and tools supporting digitization and automation efforts.
- Market the value and benefits of digitization and automation applications by showcasing existing apps and defining future possibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 7 years of experience in ServiceNOW IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, or Event Management.
- Extensive design and development experience with ServiceNOW.
- Significant experience using shell, Perl, Python, or Java scripting.
- Understanding of optimizing the ServiceNow data model and structures.
- Experience soliciting complex customer requirements and translating them into solutions.
- Ability to define a product vision and detailed roadmap.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
