About the position

As a ServiceNow Developer specializing in IT Operations Management (ITOM) at Celanese, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform. This position involves developing and implementing solutions that ensure visibility, health, and optimization of the global enterprise estate. You will collaborate with various IT teams and service providers to support and improve ServiceNow functionalities, particularly in areas such as CMDB, Discovery, and Vulnerability Response.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day support and maintenance of ServiceNow.
• Work with IT teams and service providers to develop solutions in ServiceNow.
• Coordinate support and development efforts for ServiceNow applications.
• Administer and maintain ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Vulnerability Response.
• Build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from customers to fulfillment teams.
• Implement CMDB Discovery in collaboration with Security Operations and Engineering teams.
• Resolve support issues within ServiceNow ITOM and Vulnerability Response with Infrastructure and Security Engineers.
• Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
• Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Create ServiceNow reports and dashboards to ensure systems availability and best practices.
• Translate business requirements into actionable development tasks for platform process owners.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with ITOM applications such as CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Vulnerability Response.
• Knowledge of MID Server installation, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to script and parse files/scripts using XML, JSON, and RegEx.
• Understanding of routing and switching concepts and characteristics.
• Knowledge of Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization technologies.
• Experience in administering a ServiceNow instance, including user and role management.
• Familiarity with network OSI layers, protocols, and topologies.
• Ability to write complex SQL statements and code in JavaScript.
• Understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) 3.0.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cloud Orchestration and Operational Intelligence.
• Knowledge of Firewall Audit and Reporting, Certificate Inventory and Management.
• Familiarity with web service connections and packet delivery protocols.
