About the position
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with over 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform. The role involves working on various ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CSM, integrating with other business systems, and enhancing workflows and automation to improve user experience. This position is onsite in Washington, DC and is a W2 role, with no C2C options available.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications (e.g., Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
- Create workflows, forms, and user interfaces.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via APIs and web services.
- Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide technical support.
- Build reports, dashboards, and automation scripts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to deliver successful solutions.
- Stay current with ServiceNow features, best practices, and security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow modules, and scripting languages (JavaScript, Jelly, AngularJS).
- Experience with integrations, workflow automation, and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of water/wastewater industry and Oracle utility applications.
