About the position

The ServiceNow Developer position focuses on the development and configuration of various ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, Service Portal, and Performance Analytics. The role requires collaboration in an Agile environment to design workflows, conduct testing, and support platform upgrades, ensuring that customer requirements are met effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and configuration on various areas including ITSM, Service Portal, Performance Analytics, Integration Hub, FSM, CSM, HRSD.
  • Design and develop/configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
  • Build workflow applications based on customer requirements.
  • Formulate functional testing approach, test cases and document them.
  • Support User Acceptance Tests and deploy code into Production in defined releases.
  • Participate/conduct code walkthroughs with other team members.
  • Support ServiceNow platform upgrades.
  • Offer technical solutions to address complex requirements.
  • Evaluate alternate solutions, identify the best option and implement the solution.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix identified SNOW system issues.
  • Provide direction to on call/support team member to resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to learn and deploy new functionality/capabilities using ServiceNow platform to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working on ServiceNow in an enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development/implementation/integration/administrative experience.
  • Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript (AngularJS), PowerShell, XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.).
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow Mobile platform is a big plus.
  • Experience integrating internal and external (SaaS based) ticketing systems/applications like HPSM, Zoom, Workday is a plus.
  • Experience interacting with customers to address/resolve queries.
  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Engineering, or related science and math discipline with a Technology emphasis.

  • Service Now Administrator Certifications.
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist.
  • ITIL foundations.
