As part of our client's Global Technology and Cloud organization, the ServiceNow Developer/Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Developer/Administrator will possess a foundational understanding of ServiceNow's core modules and functionalities. Key responsibilities include configuring the platform, resolving support issues, monitoring compliance, and ensuring the overall health of the ServiceNow system. The ServiceNow Developer/Administrator will have a crucial role in the deployment of features, updates, and releases. In this role, the ServiceNow Administrator will work closely with end-users, collaborating on the best solutions for technical issues, and contributing to maintaining the system's stability and usability. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding and experience using the ServiceNow Platform, with a strong emphasis on ITSM and medium experience in ITOM, particularly in event management. Additionally, some general knowledge about foundational skills such as CSDM, CMDB, and Discovery is beneficial. The ServiceNow Developer/Administrator will monitor the health, administration, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications. They will perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, configure and enhance core application components, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Knowledge Base, Management, Project & Portfolio, and Reporting. The role also involves creating and maintaining a detailed view of the ServiceNow architecture, participating in the deployment of features and ServiceNow releases, and assisting in troubleshooting patch/release management issues. The candidate will contribute to ServiceNow software releases through configuration tasks and feature delivery, research and stay current in ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies, and collaborate with team members to design the best solutions for technical issues. They will also make recommendations and participate in implementing ServiceNow requirements, perform installation and testing of updates and new releases, create and use update sets to move configurations between systems, build reports, gauges, and home pages, and maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) and monitor SLA workflows.
