About the position
Our client is a multinational company dedicated to the cybersecurity service industry, with headquarters in the USA central time zone. Candidates have to be willing to overlap at least 4 hours with US Central Time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and customizations
- Implement and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and other methods
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure development aligns with ServiceNow best practices, focusing on scalability and security
- Experience developing and maintaining ServiceNow integration with, for instance, Kantana, DocuSign, Avalara, Salesforce, and NetSuite
- Implement ServiceNow regular patching, including a year major version upgrade
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing configurations to improve application performance
- Maintain technical documentation and assist with user training and support as needed
- Be part of the on-call support team to attend Level 1 ServiceNow incidents
Requirements
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Proven experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including scripting and custom applications
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP, and integration methods within ServiceNow
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Glide scripting
- Understanding of ITSM best practices and ITIL framework
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Team player
