About the position

The ServiceNow Developer will be part of the Cloud Operations Engineering team, focusing on developing and managing ServiceNow solutions to enhance platform reliability and scalability. This hands-on role requires technical expertise in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, and IT operations, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with AWS-focused teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow solutions tailored to business needs.
• Handle lifecycle management, including unit testing, peer reviews, and system testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modules such as Asset Management, Change Management, and Incident Management.
• Ensure seamless integration with tools and environments specific to our cloud operations (AWS and other cloud providers).
• Manage and resolve incoming ServiceNow-related engineering requests.
• Conduct discovery and documentation of existing workflows, providing optimization recommendations.
• Troubleshoot, identify and resolve technical issues in ServiceNow environments.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development (including scripting, configurations, and workflows).
• JavaScript expertise for creating custom scripts and improving platform functionality.
• Hands-on experience with Discovery implementation for asset and configuration management.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Proven track record of ServiceNow platform customization and deployment.
• Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow or similar platforms in an enterprise environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud provider platforms is preferred.
• ServiceNow System Administrator or related certifications.

• Hybrid work schedule with remote options on Mondays and Fridays until December, and Monday through Thursday on-site starting January.
