About the position

The ServiceNow Technical Product Owner at CVS Health is responsible for overseeing IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiatives within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in ITAM and Agile product management, focusing on enhancing the delivery of human-centric health care solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between various stakeholders, manage product roadmaps, and ensure effective communication across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison to Product Owners/Managers across the ServiceNow Platform.
• Participate in the ServiceNow Platform Demand Board, providing product expertise.
• Serve as the primary contact for ServiceNow Platform Governance bodies.
• Represent the technical perspective in ITAM roadmap planning.
• Communicate roadmap priorities to the Agile team.
• Translate roadmap priorities into technical, process, and OCM deliverables.
• Develop Epics based on the roadmap.
• Coordinate topics for Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitate planning sessions.
• Engage in sprint planning sessions.
• Assess and accept the delivery of features.
• Represent team progress in weekly status meetings.
• Ensure stakeholders review upgrade release notes and gather recommendations for roadmap discussions.
• Informally manage team workload and dynamics.
• Coach the team in Agile roles and oversee consulting resources.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, focusing on ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, testing management, and platform engineering.
• Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), CMDB, and other ServiceNow capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile Framework and Scaled Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage upward and deliver negative news to authority.
• Self-managed, self-directed, and self-motivated with a servant leader mindset.
