About the position

The ServiceNow Technical Product Owner at CVS Health is responsible for overseeing IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiatives, ensuring effective product ownership and management within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a strong technical background in ITAM, Agile methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels. The position involves liaising with product owners, participating in governance, and facilitating roadmap planning and execution to enhance ITAM capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison to Product Owners/Managers across the ServiceNow Platform.
• Participate in the ServiceNow Platform Demand Board, providing product expertise.
• Serve as the primary contact for ServiceNow Platform Governance bodies.
• Represent the technical perspective in ITAM roadmap planning.
• Communicate roadmap priorities to the Agile team.
• Translate roadmap priorities into technical, process, and OCM deliverables.
• Develop Epics based on the roadmap.
• Coordinate topics for Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitate planning sessions.
• Engage in sprint planning sessions and assess feature delivery.
• Report team progress in weekly status meetings.
• Ensure stakeholders review upgrade release notes and gather recommendations.
• Informally manage team workload and dynamics without direct personnel management responsibilities.
• Coach the team in Agile roles and oversee consulting resources.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, focusing on ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, testing management, and platform engineering.
• Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), CMDB, and other ServiceNow capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile Framework and Scaled Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage upward and deliver negative news to authority.
• Self-managed, self-directed, and self-motivated with a servant leader mindset.
