About the position
The ServiceNow ITOM/ITSM Developer role is focused on implementing and managing ServiceNow solutions, specifically within the ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules. The position requires a strong technical background in ServiceNow scripting and integration, as well as experience in custom application development. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and document technical solutions that meet complex business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules.
- Develop custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and web services.
- Create and maintain ServiceNow catalog items and workflows.
- Design and document end-to-end technical solutions for business requirements.
- Develop automated test scripts to ensure platform quality and stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, GlideScript, and AngularJS.
- Proven track record in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and web services.
- Extensive experience in custom application development on the ServiceNow platform.
- Advanced understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive issue identification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases for querying and reporting.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with advanced ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, or GRC.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
