About the position

The ServiceNow ITOM/ITSM Developer role at Vilwaa involves delivering IT services and solutions focused on Data Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Digital Application Development. The developer will be responsible for implementing and managing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules, with a strong emphasis on scripting and integration with other enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules.
• Develop custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and web services.
• Create and customize ServiceNow widgets and user interface components using AngularJS.
• Design and document end-to-end technical solutions for complex business requirements.
• Utilize SQL and relational databases for querying and reporting purposes.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, and custom integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, GlideScript, and AngularJS.
• Proven track record in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and web services.
• Extensive experience in custom application development on the ServiceNow platform.
• Advanced understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive issue identification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, or GRC.
• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting.
• Background in developing and maintaining ServiceNow catalog items and workflows.
• Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts.
