About the position

The Senior ServiceNow (OMT) Developer role at Infosys involves hands-on experience with ServiceNow OMT and ITSM, focusing on its interaction with BSS/OSS systems. The position requires expertise in ServiceNow modules such as CSM and FSM, catering to various segments including Enterprise, Consumer, and Federal. The developer will be responsible for leading development efforts, providing technical mentorship, and ensuring effective collaboration with other ServiceNow administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development team members and provide technical mentorship.
  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows and ServiceNow Catalog configuration.
  • Build service requests from customer requirements using workflows to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams.
  • Perform integrations using Custom API/KAFKA/Integration Hub/TMF Open APIs and process automation using ServiceNow workflows.
  • Support E2E Testing/UAT and deployment to higher environments and initial instance set-up or migration.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
  • Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle configuration changes/requests.
  • Analyze customer problems and participate in discussions to gather data and document requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience with ServiceNow OMT and ITSM, including interaction with BSS/OSS systems and ServiceNow modules CSM/FSM.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical design, development, and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience working with relational databases and domain separation.
  • Experience integrating external systems with ServiceNow using integration solutions like ODBC, REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSL, KAFKA, Midserver.
  • Good communication and client interfacing skills, with cross-cultural working experience.
