About the position

The ServiceNow Platform Team Lead at CACI International is responsible for overseeing technical resources and delivering services across various parts of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, and ITOM. This role involves managing a team of ServiceNow engineers and developers, ensuring project governance, and acting as a liaison to the CISA customer and stakeholders. The Team Lead will also support the design and implementation of new modules and applications while promoting best practices and continual service improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of ServiceNow engineers, developers, and business analysts.
  • Identify and hire staff for the team through interviewing and technical screening.
  • Provide hands-on leadership to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for technical staff, helping to remove obstacles and provide solutions.
  • Function as a liaison to the CISA customer and stakeholders.
  • Support the design, planning, and implementation of new modules and applications across the ServiceNow platform using Agile methodology.
  • Ensure CISA defined project governance standards are implemented and adhered to for each project and task.
  • Directly interface with end-users, stakeholders, and process owners to document desired business outcomes and verify project deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Ensure all architectural artifacts and deliverables are developed to the highest quality standards.
  • Define, monitor, and enforce best practice and governance for the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a ServiceNow development team in a supervisor, lead, or manager capacity.
  • 1 or more active ServiceNow Certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business (BA + 10 years' applicable experience, AA + 12 years' applicable experience, MA + 7 years applicable experience or 12 years' experience).
  • 10+ Years of total IT experience.
  • 5+ Years of experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Ability to interface with team members at all levels, including business operations, technology, and management.
  • Experience working with US Federal Government customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Public Trust clearance is required to begin employment.

Nice-to-haves

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
  • Experience managing one or more instances of ServiceNow in a production environment.
  • Experience with Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
  • Experience with the ServiceNow Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) application.
  • Experience with ServiceNow automated test framework (ATF).
