About the position

The ServiceNow Product Owner Manager at Kirkland & Ellis is responsible for leading a product team focused on the development, management, and enhancement of ServiceNow's Strategic Portfolio Management and Application Portfolio Management products. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to align application roadmaps with business objectives, managing product backlogs, ensuring user experience quality, and tracking product-related costs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a ServiceNow product team in the development and management of ServiceNow applications.
  • Establish and manage application roadmaps in alignment with business vision and vendor roadmaps.
  • Manage a team of contingent resources to deliver enhancements using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ensure adherence to design and quality standards in product development.
  • Accountable for the integrity of product backlogs, including story quality and prioritization.
  • Measure and ensure the user experience and response time of ServiceNow applications are maintained during new developments.
  • Stay current with emerging technology trends and evaluate their impact on ServiceNow products.
  • Track and report on all run costs related to the product area, including licensing and resourcing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow product experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital product governance framework and security best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • ServiceNow mainstream certification, such as CSA or CIS in a particular product.
