About the position

The ServiceNow QA Engineer (UAT) role at TEKsystems is primarily focused on the HR service line migration, serving as the single point of contact for all testing activities. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the testing process, including reporting on test progress and status, escalating defects and environmental issues, and participating in the planning and scheduling of tests. The QA Engineer will coordinate daily testing activities, assist with knowledge transfer and training of offshore test resources, and write detailed test scenarios and test cases. In addition to these responsibilities, the QA Engineer will manage defect resolution across teams and participate in daily testing planning meetings. The role also involves creating defect reports and ensuring that all defects are addressed within the QA cycle to prevent issues during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The ideal candidate will have experience testing ServiceNow products and platforms in an enterprise environment, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance practices, both manual and automated. The ServiceNow QA Engineer will be expected to set up scripts and work extensively on the UAT side, reviewing existing scripts and implementing process improvements. Candidates should be capable of creating scripts from scratch and utilizing embedded ServiceNow testing capabilities. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all testing activities.
  • Report on test progress and status.

  • Assist with knowledge transfer and training of offshore test resources.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow QA experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience testing ServiceNow products and platforms.
  • Knowledge of ITSM and ITBM suites of ServiceNow.
  • Ability to write detailed test cases and defect documentation in Agile Development.
  • Experience in running ATF scripts and writing ATF scripts from scratch.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with developers and business analysts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with automation testing in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance testing methodologies.
