About the position

The DevSecOps Cloud Native Engineer position within the ServiceNow Security Organization (SSO) is designed for new college graduates or early career professionals. This role focuses on identifying security vulnerabilities within the ServiceNow platform, interfacing with external researchers and customers, and advocating for security best practices. The engineer will run dynamic security testing tools, plan projects, and effectively communicate security issues and remediation strategies to application owners.

Responsibilities

• Identify security vulnerabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
• Interface with external researchers and customers performing security assessments.
• Run dynamic security testing tools and plan security-related projects.
• Report security issues to application owners and provide remediation recommendations.
• Validate that reported issues have been resolved.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student or recent graduate.
• Pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Developer level proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Experience managing a bug bounty or responsible disclosure program.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile application security assessment techniques.
• Ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers.
• Experience working with the ServiceNow Platform is a plus.
• Security certifications are a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident with 3 years of residency, eligible for a US security clearance.
