About the position

The ServiceNow Developer position at IMG involves supporting a customer in Washington, DC, primarily through the migration of legacy applications to the ServiceNow platform. The role requires reviewing existing functionalities, developing migration plans, and executing transitions while ensuring user acceptance testing. Additionally, the developer will improve documentation and evaluate database security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and existing functionality of legacy applications and develop migration plans to recapitalize using the ServiceNow application platform.
• Execute transition and support user acceptance testing after migration plans are approved.
• Improve existing end user documentation or write new documentation as needed for migrated applications.
• Review DISA requirements for database hardening, evaluate current database posture, and create a plan to close gaps or document deviations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' recent experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
• Experience in MySQL database operations/management and DISA STIG configurations, preferably within a Linux environment.
• Experience in JavaScript/ECMAScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap within the ServiceNow application platform.
• Experience using C# and Visual Studio Tools for Office to interface with web-based REST APIs.
• Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle, including requirements development, design, coding, testing, documentation, operation, and maintenance.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant concentration preferred.
