About the position
The ServiceNow Software Developer position at the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) involves developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications using various platform tools and best practices. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications using platform and architecture tools.
- Perform analysis, design, and development tasks in support of MDT's operations.
- Follow the department's SAFe agile software development methodology.
- Utilize agile tools for enhancements and new development.
- Participate in project teams and contribute to project management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience in ServiceNow development.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience using ServiceNow for maximum qualifications, including project leadership and database schema development.
- Expertise in SQL, Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and mobile applications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with MDT applications is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and ability to design or develop them.
- Familiarity with deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
