About the position
The ServiceNow Software Developer position at the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) involves developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications using various platform tools and best practices. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications using App Engine and other platform tools.
- Perform analysis, design, and development tasks for the Department of Transportation's operations.
- Follow the SAFe agile software development methodology for project execution.
- Collaborate with project teams to enhance and develop new features in ServiceNow.
- Utilize agile tools for project management and development tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience in ServiceNow development.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience using ServiceNow for maximum qualifications, including 4+ years in project leadership and database schema development.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and mobile applications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with MDT applications is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
