About the position

The ServiceNow System Administrator role involves hands-on support and implementation of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow, with a focus on ensuring data quality in the CMDB and collaborating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive operations and environment maintenance.
  • Develop and configure ad-hoc ServiceNow enhancements/configurations.
  • Own issues and bring them to resolution as quickly as possible while providing proactive updates.
  • Support architecture of the platform and work with teams for implementation of tools and plugins.
  • Define KPIs for and monitor CMDB data quality.
  • Find solutions from previous cases using the Knowledge Base.
  • Ensure ADO tickets are properly updated and asset management system is properly updated.
  • Create clear and concise technical and process documentation.
  • Be proactive in taking ownership of tasks and managing them through completion and knowing when to ask for help.
  • Flexibility to learn new technologies and quickly adapt.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of Office products.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB management.
  • Understanding of Active Directory.
  • Understanding of Discovery Tools (Discovery and SCCM).
  • Understanding of ADO.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also in a team environment.
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with end user services, information technology or related field preferred.
