About the position

The ServiceNow Technical Project Manager (SAM/HAM) role at Gratiture Solutions is designed for an experienced professional who will lead the implementation of ServiceNow's Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules. This position requires a hands-on technical project manager with deep expertise in asset management functionalities, ensuring that projects align with business goals and technical requirements while being completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ServiceNow implementation projects focusing on SAM/HAM modules, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for successful project delivery, identifying potential project risks.
  • Oversee configuration, customization, and deployment of SAM/HAM modules to meet organizational needs and enhance asset management processes.
  • Ensure SAM/HAM modules align with licensing, procurement, and inventory management best practices.
  • Act as the technical SME for SAM/HAM modules, providing guidance on best practices, process improvements, and system integrations.
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to define technical requirements and lead solution design for custom workflows, automation, and reporting within SAM/HAM.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the ServiceNow platform, especially SAM/HAM modules, with other IT systems such as CMDB and ITAM.
  • Drive automation and optimization efforts to maximize the efficiency of asset management operations.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular project updates, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, design documents, technical specifications, and user training materials.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a strong background in ServiceNow, especially in SAM and HAM.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading technical projects on the ServiceNow platform, particularly within IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) areas.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM/HAM module configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in asset lifecycle management, compliance tracking, licensing, procurement, and inventory processes.
  • Understanding of scripting, workflows, and automation in ServiceNow (JavaScript).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership abilities to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
