About the position

The Service Operations Coordinator I at Exact Sciences Corporation serves as the primary contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information regarding installed equipment. This role is essential for managing equipment records and maintenance plans, providing support to the Equipment Service teams, coordinating work orders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The position requires autonomy in decision-making and may involve overseeing multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer support regarding installed equipment.
  • Manage and maintain equipment records and maintenance plans.
  • Coordinate work orders and communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, CAP/CLIA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Review technical documentation for adherence to regulations.
  • Develop and manage calibration schedules for equipment across multiple laboratory environments.
  • Assist with inventory management and project implementation.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the CMMS system and manage work order requests.
  • Support scheduling of external vendors for maintenance activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related field; or an Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service-focused setting.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Calibration Management Systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel macros and pivot tables.
  • Basic computer skills including Internet navigation and email usage.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience with equipment qualification.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (CAP, CLIA, FDA, and/or ISO).
