About the position

The Service Operations Specialist role at Avantor involves supporting lab and production services by performing customized lab work and research protocols. This position is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, reporting directly to the Onsite Supervisor and collaborating with various teams to meet project goals and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties associated with operations of Site Services.
• Lead and coordinate the team's efforts to fulfill customer requirements.
• Work closely with management to complete projects such as Standard Operating Procedures and Scopes of Work.
• Train Avantor Lab and Production Services associates on all service offerings.
• Provide SAP Support including full customer services and invoice scrubbing.
• Modify and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators.
• Manage a budget related to expense reports.
• Meet revenue, TOE, safety, performance, and quality goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or undergraduate degree in a business or science-related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in inventory control, procurement, shipping and receiving, or inside sales preferred.
• Certifications such as IATA, DOT, OSHA Right to Know, IMDG, Forklift, and Hazwoper are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and transportation required.
