About the position

Under a minimal level of guidance and direction, provides customer service for multiple Paychex products. Ensures good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with Paychex policies and procedures. Proactively educates and informs clients, and initiates improvements based on client feedback. Has in-depth knowledge of at least one Paychex product. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insurance quotes to clients from current and alternate carriers during certain client renewals to validate that the best possible options are presented to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Work as liaison between policy holder and Insurance Carrier to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided
  • Coordinate among internal Paychex departments to ensure the highest level of customer service across product lines (i.e., Payroll, Section 125, Human Resources, 401(k), COBRA)
  • Retain clients as outlined in yearly planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in Insurance industry or Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrates customer service skills
  • LAH license is required to obtain within 90 days of employment
