About the position
The Service Representative is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a banking environment. This position involves handling various banking transactions while also identifying sales opportunities to promote bank products and services. The representative is expected to maintain confidentiality, adhere to bank policies, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct customer service to meet banking needs, including processing deposits and withdrawals accurately.
- Demonstrate the USB Customer Service Commitment Charter and prioritize customer interactions.
- Handle transactions efficiently while respecting customers' time and maintaining confidentiality.
- Respond to customer concerns and refer them to supervisors when necessary, ensuring follow-up as required.
- Process transactions accurately, including balancing TCD and/or TCR as needed.
- Promote USB products and services, assisting customers in understanding how they meet their financial goals.
- Maintain knowledge of all USB products and services to generate quality referrals and exceed sales goals.
- Utilize tracking systems to report and track sales and service activities.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service and sales.
- High school diploma or GED.
