About the position

As a Service Sales Engineer at Alfa Laval, you will be responsible for driving direct sales of products and services within a specified area, focusing on the Commercial & Residential Buildings sector. This hybrid role involves identifying new business opportunities, executing sales plans, and collaborating with the service operations team to enhance customer experience. You will also perform energy-saving evaluations to assist customers in achieving their sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans for target accounts within Commercial & Residential Buildings.
  • Discover new business opportunities in the market and develop new business for heat exchangers service.
  • Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, emphasizing understanding customer needs and highlighting the value of products and services.
  • Collaborate with the service operations team to provide superior customer experience.
  • Perform energy-saving evaluations using Alfa Laval tools and processes to help customers achieve their sustainability goals.
  • Own the lead to fulfillment process including prospecting, quotation preparation, negotiation, securing purchase orders, and overseeing service execution.
  • Support marketing activities in conjunction with the Demand Generation Team.
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools consistently and qualitatively to support the sales process and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales related to data center or HVAC preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal collaboration, leadership, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge of data centers preferable.
  • Proactive, curious, open-minded, and a team player.
  • Willingness to travel 60%.
