About the position

The Service Sales Representative at Grunau Fire Protection is responsible for initiating and managing customer relationships to drive revenue and profits. This role focuses on developing new and existing customer relationships, particularly in the Pittsburgh, PA area, while also identifying mechanical service opportunities. The representative will play a key role in producing estimates, managing projects, and cross-selling various services offered by the company.

Responsibilities

• Assume a leadership role in identifying and building significant long-term relationships with customers.
• Actively seek new relationships and service opportunities.
• Produce detailed estimates, calculations, and create proposals.
• Manage own projects, including scheduling labor.
• Cross-sell a variety of mechanical and fire protection services offered by the company.
• Work with the Contract department to secure service contracts.
• Maintain a high level of service and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or completion of trade affiliated apprenticeship.
• 2-3 years of Project Management/leadership, design, and sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of various fire protection systems.
• Ability to apply innovative and effective sales and project management techniques.
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards.
• Ability to make significant independent judgments and decisions affecting profitability.
• Assertive personality with a progressive and positive attitude.
• Competent in various computer programs (i.e. Excel, Power Point).
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
