About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Dept Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating service schedules and tickets, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining service accounts receivable. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of the service department to effectively forecast demand and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between service capabilities and customer requirements.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to track inventory control and monitor supply chain processes to assure we have needed parts to complete service appointments.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to coordinate material availability for service appointments.
• Identify potential bottlenecks in the service department and propose solutions to optimize operations.
• Prepare reports on production efficiency, inventory status, and scheduling effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing service schedules in Construction Service Department.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast service scheduling.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and best practices.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer skills a must.
