The Service Specialist (Journeyman-HVAC) position at PSEG involves performing a variety of HVAC-related tasks, including the installation, adjustment, service, and repair of heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities

• Adjust, service, or repair equipment consuming 1,000,000 BTU's or less for residential and commercial buildings.
• Adjust, service, or repair Electric Air Conditioning for equipment sized 5 tons or less in residential and commercial buildings.
• Adjust, service, or repair residential electric ranges/ovens, water heaters, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines if trained and qualified.
• Installation of HVAC systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
• Completion of a Journeyman Training and Testing Program during the first six months of employment.
• Possession of a type II or Universal refrigerant certificate.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and a safe driving record.
