About the position

The Service Specialist role at Epiq involves providing essential administrative support to clients, including mail services, copy services, reception duties, hospitality services, floor coordination, and facilities services. This position is integral to maintaining a professional and efficient work environment, ensuring that all client needs are met with high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule.
  • Producing copy, print, and scan projects accurately per written instructions.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and routing them to the appropriate person, greeting and announcing visitors professionally.
  • Coordinating and maintaining client conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens, ensuring cleanliness and supply readiness.
  • Upkeeping copy rooms and stocking general supplies, delivering paper, and performing basic daily maintenance.
  • Handling small office moves, cleaning services, and communicating with key client contacts regarding building/equipment concerns.

Requirements

  • 1 year of prior experience in a law firm setting, in office services, administrative support, or reception.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer service field.
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact.
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time.
