About the position

The Service Supervisor position at D.H. Pace Company, Inc. involves overseeing service operations in the St. Louis office, focusing on customer satisfaction and efficient scheduling. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced service environment, ensuring that all jobs are completed to customer expectations and administrative tasks are handled promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily scheduling of all jobs, ensuring customers' preferences are met.
• Provide immediate problem-solving assistance to office staff, installers, and service technicians.
• Constantly monitor installers' and service technicians' schedules in real-time to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Track completed jobs and place follow-up calls to customers to ensure expectations were met.
• Facilitate processing of completed jobs to ensure proper handling of materials and accurate billing.
• Responsible for timely completion of all administrative paperwork associated with this position.
• Perform employee performance reviews in conjunction with the Department Manager, document performance issues, and provide employee counseling performance improvement action plans when necessary.
• Participate in planning process and establishing department goals and objectives.
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Management experience preferred
• Experienced using Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and represent the company professionally
• Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems.
