About the position

The Service Supervisor is responsible for providing on-site supervision for stimulation jobs, acting as the company's representative in customer dealings. This role involves preparing procedures for the service crew, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The supervisor oversees all crew activities from departure to job completion, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site supervision for all stimulation jobs.
  • Acts as the company's representative in dealings with customers on site.
  • Prepares ready-to-work procedures with the service crew, including chemical loading and fluid testing.
  • Coordinates and supervises activities of transportation and material-moving equipment.
  • Oversees all crew job activities from leaving home base to servicing at job locations and returning to home base.
  • Responsible for all logistics, including meeting with tank personnel and coordinating pre-job requirements.
  • Performs a full range of supervisory responsibilities including training, scheduling of work, and performance counseling.
  • Ensures adherence to Human Resources and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with customers regarding special requests and job specifics before, during, and after service.
  • Applies industry knowledge to manage day-to-day operations for effective service delivery.
  • Ensures crew members meet customer and company requirements.
  • Knowledgeable of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and adheres to them.
  • Reviews job parameters and specifics with appropriate personnel during preplanning stages.
  • Verifies all dispatch information and readiness for service.
  • Instructs crew members in job procedures and safety protocols.
  • Conducts safety meetings with crew prior to and during job execution.
  • Reviews finished projects with crew and oversees cleanup for return to home base.
  • Prepares reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inspects work performed to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
  • Investigates complaints about service and equipment, taking corrective action as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, experience, or vocational training preferred.
  • Must pass the required SSIT progression training course.
  • General knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
