About the position

The Service Supervisor is responsible for on-site supervision of stimulation jobs, acting as the company's representative in customer dealings. This role involves preparing work procedures, coordinating logistics, overseeing crew activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The supervisor is also tasked with training crew members, managing job specifics, and maintaining communication with customers throughout the service process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site supervision for all stimulation jobs.
  • Act as the company's representative in dealings with customers on site.
  • Prepare ready-to-work procedures with the service crew.
  • Coordinate and supervise activities of transportation and material-moving equipment.
  • Oversee all crew job activities from leaving home base to servicing at job locations and return.
  • Responsible for all logistics including meeting with tank personnel and coordinating pre-job requirements.
  • Perform a full range of supervisory responsibilities including training, scheduling of work, and performance counseling.
  • Ensure adherence to Human Resources and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with customers regarding job specifics before, during, and after service.
  • Analyze and manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficient services for customers.
  • Ensure crew members meet customer and company requirements.
  • Review job parameters and specifics with appropriate personnel in preplanning stages.
  • Verify dispatch information and readiness of equipment and materials for service.
  • Instruct crew members in job procedures and safety protocols.
  • Conduct safety meetings with crew prior to and during job execution.
  • Review finished projects with crew and oversee cleanup operations.
  • Prepare reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inspect work performed to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
  • Investigate complaints about service and equipment, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Identify changes in circumstances and respond to security violations or emergencies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, experience, or vocational training preferred.
  • Must pass the required SSIT progression training course.
  • General knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
  • General knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures for security operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
