About the position

The Service Team Coordinator is a vital role within the Spiritual Life team at Warner University, which focuses on leadership and discipleship among students. This position involves coordinating and providing logistical support for chapel and other Spiritual Growth services, as well as organizing service opportunities for students to engage in community service both on and off campus. The Announcements Coordinator will work closely with the Spiritual Life team to create and execute weekly chapel announcements for the student body.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide logistical setup for chapel and other Spiritual Growth services.
• Plan and execute service-oriented Spiritual Growth opportunities.
• Connect with local organizations and churches for volunteer services.
• Assist the Chapel coordinator in creating and adjusting the chapel master planning sheet.
• Monitor and maintain an organized system for chapel supplies storage.
• Attend weekly discipleship sessions with the Spiritual Life team.
• Partner with the Spiritual Life team to promote Spiritual Life on campus.
• Coordinate the Spiritual Formation calendar with the Dean of Student Life.
• Execute chapel setups with athletic teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a full-time traditional Warner Student.
• Must be work-study eligible (Federal or State).
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Good phone etiquette (training provided).
• Timely and efficient for event setup.
• Conscientious, accurate, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work 5-10 hours per week.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferably able to set academic schedule to meet setup teams prior to events (especially Wednesday morning chapels).
