About the position

The Service Team Coordinator (STC) is responsible for ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with state regulations and agency policies. This role involves leading team development, fostering open communication, and promoting learning initiatives for both staff and the individuals supported. The STC must maintain a positive team attitude and effectively respond to unexpected changes or demands in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Train, motivate, and supervise all personnel within the team.
  • Facilitate team building activities and effective team meetings.
  • Establish welcoming processes for new team members.
  • Understand and implement principles of the Oregon Intervention System.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for the assigned area.
  • Oversee and ensure quality services and support for individuals living in the home.
  • Manage daily operations and scheduling to ensure safety of individuals served.
  • Prepare, train, and support Individual Support Plans (ISP).
  • Assist with transportation needs of individuals assigned to support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Two years of supervisory experience required, with possible substitutions for relevant education or experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn agency applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions and perform enhanced math skills.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Experience in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
