The Service Tech position at Southern Siding and Window involves providing professional servicing of home improvement products, ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate measurements and repairs. The role requires a self-starter with a background in carpentry or construction, who can work independently and as part of a team. The company values timeliness and attention to detail, and the Service Tech will also assist in warehouse duties when needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and professional servicing of all products.
• Assist the Production Manager in maintaining the company vehicle, including cleaning and servicing.
• Help with installation jobs as needed, either independently or as part of a team.
• Assist in the warehouse with cleaning, organizing, unloading trucks, prepping materials for installation jobs, and picking up materials as needed.
• Act as an ambassador for the company, striving for 100% customer satisfaction.
• Provide complete and accurate client feedback upon completion of jobs.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Arrive ready to work according to the schedule and perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, siding, renovation, or construction.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Computer skills and basic knowledge of office equipment.
• Ability to take accurate measurements using a tape measure, level, and combination square.
• Ability to use power tools such as drills and jigsaws.
• Ability to lift and/or push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using a metal brake.
• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
