About the position

As a Service Technician at Dayrise Residential, you will be responsible for performing general apartment and facilities maintenance under the supervision of the Service Manager and/or Community Manager. The role focuses on ensuring customer service satisfaction and optimal property performance, while also maintaining a safe and well-functioning living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general apartment and facilities maintenance under supervision.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as directed.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repairs as needed.
  • Complete all service requests within 24 hours unless extraordinary parts or labor are required.
  • Interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers, and management.
  • Maintain the leasing office and all recreational and common area facilities.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Property Management.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • EPA certification preferred.
  • Ability to access all apartment homes and parts of the community.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multifamily operations including maintenance and resident relations.
  • Ability to visually inspect apartment homes and grounds to ensure standards are met.
  • Knowledge in maintenance including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management is preferred.
