About the position
The Service Technician role involves working with an established International Agricultural Equipment Manufacturer that is entering the U.S. market. The position focuses on providing hands-on service and repair for agricultural equipment, utilizing knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and computer-aided diagnostic systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a significant agricultural revolution, working on unique projects and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and conversion work on agricultural equipment in the field of mechanized agriculture, hydraulics, and electronic components.
- Act as the specialist contact for customers and team members regarding service calls.
- Provide information and updates regarding service calls to customers and team members.
- Conduct product training and instruction for customers.
Requirements
- 2- or 4-year degree in Ag Tech, Construction Machinery Tech, or Automotive Tech.
- Hands-on experience in agriculture, engineering, or a comparable industry.
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle engines, mechanics, hydraulics, and computer-aided diagnostic systems.
- Solid communication skills and proficiency in computer technology.
- Strong attention to detail and exemplary customer service skills.
- Desire to work independently on unique agricultural equipment projects.
